There are a number of magical spots, either at 49 Crossing (pictured here), Edwards Crossing, Purdons Crossing, Washington, Bridgeport, Jones Bar, to name a few. So what are you waiting for? Grab your river gear and enjoy the sunshine! If you need directions to the river, feel free to stop by the Outside Inn’s office, we’re always happy to help figure out which location is best suited for you. While the temperatures may be dropping a bit, now is still a fabulous time to head to the South Yuba River. Head down to Bridgeport and walk along the Buttermilk Bend trail, check out the covered bridge or bring a book and sit on a rock and soak up the sun. If you’re ambitious jump on your bike and ride down to the State Park, regardless of your activity, you’ll be happy you made the trip.
