Coffee and a cookie

Who needs an afternoon pick me up?  I recently ordered a custom Pickle Pottery coffee mug (see the mug on the top left with the tent) and took the cup to Foxhound Espresso for a latte.  Stephanie’s handmade Pickle Pottery mugs have been a part of Foxhound Espresso since they opened and only recently via Instagram did I realize that I could have one made especially for me.  If you’re interested in checking out more of Pickle Pottery’s work you can stop by Kitkitdizzi, Gather and Mill’s upcoming Pop Up Shop or the Nevada City Craft Fair.  Or you can email picklepottery@gmail.com and order your own custom mug.  And since we all know I love giveaways I put together a special little pick me up prize– post a comment on the blog post and you can win the Pickle Pottery mug with the pot of gold, a drink of your choice from Foxhound Espresso and a cookie from Treats, winner will be announced on Monday, April 17th.

Beautiful photos! I’ll follow you on Instagram and can’t wait to see them at the craft fair. The tent and stars mug is awesome! Thanks for showcasing a new local artist for me to get excited about

So, when I win this contest, I will pick up my prize from Treats on Friday, May 5th and will then go pick up my mug and a delicious Latte from Foxhound so that I can have enough stamina to enjoy the Nevada City Craft Fair AND First Friday Art Walk. (perhaps I will do this even if I don’t win)

Well actually you’ll have to visit your friends at the Outside Inn first to collect the prize package and then you can go to Treats, get the cookie and then take the mug over to Foxhound and get the coffee… and then enjoy them together before tackling the scene.

Oh, that all sounds so good right now with this cool weather, but I would certainly enjoy it anytime! We have such wonderful local crafters of every kind (be it food, drink, or product).

My grandma worked at the outside inn for years and I got to spend lots of time there when I was little! It has a special place in my heart and it’s so nice to see it doing so well! These are three of my favorite shops in Nevada City and the mug would be a nice little taste of home while away in college!

At our first visit to Foxhound, my coffee came in a Pickle Pottery mug that said on the side “A is for asshole”. We thought, this is a great place and we should keep coming back. And so we have.

Nevada City is my happy place, and this combines some of the best little offerings in the magical town. Treats is my gotta-have-place (the gluten free chocolate chip cookies are the best ever), Foxhound Coffee makes the best lattes, and I’ve been making it my life-long mission to get my hands on anything Stephanie makes for years. She is so talented! Aww man, this is the ultimate trifecta. Thank you for putting together an amazing giveaway; it’s so rad. Do I get extra points for getting married in NC to the move of my life in October? We are so excited!

Oh! Pick me! Three of my favorite things: hand made mugs, foxhound lattes, and chocolate chip cookies. I’ve been known to obsess over the latter two. Actually, at various times in my life, all 3…

Fantastic. The great thing about handmade ceramic is that every single one is unique. Plus coffee and a cookie makes it that much better.

The mug is wonderful! Just as someone else has never been to Treats. I have never been to FoxHound and I LOVE coffee. If I win, I will bring you the cookie as I don’t eat cookies.
