Community Asian Theatre of the Sierra (CATS) opens the production of Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet tonight at the historic Nevada Theatre. The play is based on the best-selling historical fiction novel by Jamie Ford. Follow Henry Lee, a Chinese American boy and Keiko Okabe, a Japanese American girl, during the internment in World War II as they navigate love and friendship in the 1940’s in Seattle and what becomes of their relationship after the internment camps. Tickets are on sale online as well as Briarpatch Co-Op and The Book Seller. The show runs through May 9th with a special opening gala on Saturday, April 18th and reception with author Jamie Ford on Saturday, April 25th.
