Roots Reclaimed Studio Collective is about to open its unique shared working space in Grass Valley for photographers, wedding and event planners and make up artists. Nicole Wright’s vintage rental business outgrew its Nevada City warehouse and in the process of looking for a new space she decided to create a business that provides a shared work space, photography studio and warehouse. So if you’re a wedding photographer who needs a place to meet your clients, do a photo shoot or a quiet place with wi-fi and a coffee bar, perhaps a membership is perfect for you? For more information about the Studio Membership click here, there’s a special promotion if you join before September 30th (5 free credits each month and no processing fee). Curious to have a look around? Either stop by on Friday, August 22nd between 10-4 or mark your calendar for their Open House/Vintage Furniture Sale Labor Day weekend (Saturday 10-5, Sunday 10-4). Roots Reclaimed Studio is located at 603 Mill Street, next door to the Swiss House. In addition the Studio will also be hosting DIY workshops and the first one is a string art class, but I’ve got a giveaway to the upcoming calligraphy class by Pigment and Parchment on October 11th (click here to see more photos from a previous workshop). Additional classes will included the talented Thistle and Honey floral crowns and cocktails by the Gold Dust Collective, information on workshops coming to the website soon. Please post a comment on this blog post and I’ll draw a winner for a free spot in the Calligraphy class on Monday, September 1st.
