Sierra Vintners Wine Trail
Interested in learning more about Nevada County wines? The Sierra Vintners Wine Trail is a two day event, June 2nd and 3rd that really allows visitors to get to know the wine in the region. Fifteen different wineries throughout the area welcome new visitors to come and sample wines, food and come have a chat with the winemakers.

The newly constructed wine making facility has some great features, so while most of Sierra Starr tastings happen at their downtown Grass Valley tasting room, this event is a great opportunity to explore the new facility. Uncorked
Nevada City Chamber of Commerce and the Sierra Vintners “Uncorked” their first join wine tasting event in downtown Nevada City today. An extensive selection of local wines were poured throughout historic downtown Nevada City and paired with food samplings from local restaurants. One of my favorite combinations was the Treats peach sorbet with the Indian Springs Muscat Blanc, what more can you ask for on a warm summer afternoon?
