While I’m still dreaming of winter weather, why not get outside and enjoy an outdoor adventure? The Outside Inn loves to help both locals and visitors get out and explore. Two of the most popular options from the motel are the Deer Creek Tribute Trail and the Hirschman Pond Trail. Both options are accessible on foot from downtown Nevada City and can vary in length from 45 minutes to 2 hours depending on how far you go. If you’re unfamiliar with either of these trails feel free to stop by the office for a free map. We took a stroll up to Hirschman Pond over the weekend and were delighted to see folks out walking their dogs, taking photographs, pushing strollers and just soaking up the sunshine.
