Los Mineros brings a fresh twist on Mexican food to downtown Nevada City. Always organic and as local as possible, Bay Area chef, Jason Moniz offers an authentic taste of Mexico. Stop in and try a trio of street tacos (al pastor or marinated pork, tinga or shredded beef, pollo adobado, camarones or vegetarian). Want to try something new? Menu items include ensalada de aguacate y betabel: beet & avocado salad, pickled squash, pumpkin seeds, cilantro, whipped Weyward Girl requeson, guajillo chile vinaigrette and plato de carnitas: slow roasted pork shoulder, pinto beans, rice, grilled green onions, salsa fresca & tortillas.
